My name is Ben Hutter and I am entering my senior year of highschool. I have only been playing tennis for two years, but my hardwork and love of the sport has allowed me to play doubles my sophomore year, and singles my junior year. Before my tennis journey started, I had made varsity indoor and outdoor track, and have played sports all throughout my life, most notably baseball in middle school. During lockdown my mother decided to sign me up for tennis lessons at my local club. I simply fell in love with it, and abandoned all other competitive sports. My improvement over the past two years, I feel, has shown a passion and dedication for Tennis that I would love to further show on a college team. I take my academics seriously and my intensity in the classroom matches my intensity on the court. This coming summer I will be training several hours a day, morning and evening, as well as playing UTR and USTA tournaments to further improve. I know I'm a bit late to the game, but my dedication to this sport will show how valuable an asset I could be to a college team.
