Playing collegiate tennis at a competitive university is my ultimate goal. I bring a complete commitment to tennis above all other sports, training on some level throughout the year. My tennis career began early as I played Varsity singles in 7th grade at age 12. I have excelled in the classroom, achieving high honor roll status multiple times. I have taken on additional academic challenges, participating in Sports Medicine Elective and Advanced Placement courses in math and science. In the off season I am committed to staying fit and am striving to recognize nutritional importance to athletic performance. I get along well with others and turn my teammates into family; this helped us work together towards a team sectional title my 8th grade year. I have recognized the intense mental and physical demands by participating in Houghton College Tennis Camp, Tennis Club of Rochester Summer Camp and USTA Camp at Midtown Athletic Center in Rochester. I have seen the incredible talent of other current high school tennis players and would be humbled to have the opportunity to play next to them at the college level.
