I never did a sport before I had started running cross country my 7th grade year, when I told my parents that I signed up for a sport they were in shock. Surprisingly I grew a huge love for the sport and I was surprisingly good. My coach brought me to the varsity invites my 7th grade year because my school wouldn't allow 7th graders on varsity but I do hold 2 school records for modified in the 600 and 1000 meter. As an 8th grader I was pulled up to varsity and I ran a sub 22 5k during cross country. In indoor track I got 3rd place at sectionals for the 1000 meter and went to state qualifiers for our winning 4x4 relay. My indoor girls team won sectionals last season and we're looking forward to sectionals again this year. When spring track came along I ran really well in the 1500 and I made it to state qualifiers but by then my body was so worn out it didn't really go well. At sectionals, they announced that my 5:17 time qualified me for New Balance Nationals but I did not end up attending it. As a freshman I ended up with an injury in my foot and I wasn't running for 5 weeks, I came off that injury better than ever and I am doing super well currently in the 600, I have won my past 2 races and second place in one.
Academics wise, I am doing very well in school. I have been on honor or high honor roll ever since 7th grade. I am not currently taking any AP classes because I struggle in all the normal subjects that my school offers AP classes in, math and social studies. I take school very seriously and I try my hardest even when it isn't the best. I get extra help when needed and I complete all my work. I find interest in English class and Science, they are my favorite besides my art and photography class.
I am a very quiet person and I keep to myself, I hate drama and I have a small circle. I am super funny once I become comfortable around you and I always try to find the best out of situations that might not be the best. I find a huge interest in criminology, criminal justice, crime scene investigation and I would like to be in the FBI one day. I also find a lot of interest in the psychological side of what goes on in criminals minds so I would really love to be in the Behavior Analysis Unit of the FBI. I really love spending time with my family and friends, they are one of the most important things to me and I don't know where I would be without each and every one of them.
I am looking forward to the future and seeing where I end up, I really want to focus on my academics and being able to run throughout, that is an awesome benefit. I know what it's like not being able to run and all I want is to run and get better in the future.
A little bit of an update on me:
Cross country has taken a bit of a toll on my feet, I have tendinitis in both of my feet which unfortunately caused me to piss my Sophomore indoor track and outdoor track seasons. I didn't participate in my Junior year cross country season in hopes that I can excel in my indoor and outdoor track seasons for my Junior year. I am hoping for a good season.
