Brooke Piazza '20 Recruiting Profile

    This year my high school softball team qualified for playoffs; something my school hasn't done in 5 years! I was extremely proud of everything this years' team accomplished. After high school softball, I went straight into my travel softball Summer season and found out that my team, AZ Hotshots- Georges was ranked in the top 60, in the country, for 16u teams. I couldn't believe it and was very humbled by that experience. Even though my teams and I had already made great accomplishments we continued to work hard everyday making sure we improved, stayed focused on our goals and always remained level headed.

    My biggest aspiration for my collegiate career is to be where I'm happy; at a school where I fall in love with the campus and surroundings and working everyday to improve my game and skills and will be studying and working hard to become a vet or orthopedic doctor. Another collegiate goal of mine is to become an All-American at some point in my career. I have always been a morning person and love to get up early and make the most out of everyday. In school this year, I made it a point to join two clubs that work to benefit the community and I work hard every single day to maintain my 4.2 GPA.  Everyday, whether it is an early morning jog, late night workout or middle of the day team practice, I am always making sure I am doing something to benefit myself in softball and daily obstacles.
