Basketball has been a huge part of my life for the past 8 years. It has taught me how to communicate with others better and how to be a leader. I have always been the youngest on almost every team and I used to think that meant I was worse then the rest but I realized it’s all in commitment and how much time and sweat you put into the game. For the next three years of my high school career my academic goals are to get straight A’s and making sure my teammates succeed in academics too. As for college I am planning to major in business and marketing so I can run my own business and take over my parents business when the time comes. Basketball for me is my only escape so a real struggle for me is being injured or not being able to play because I really don’t know what to do with myself if I can’t play. I don’t know if I have any unique characteristics all I know is I work hard and push myself with whatever I do.
