I believe that hard work eventually pays off if you really put your mind and body into whatever you want to accomplish. For most of my younger childhood, I've been overweight and it has affected the way I played softball. In January of 2016, I started a dieting plan called Nutrisystem and began going to the gym, which helped me lose over 50 pounds and start a healthier lifestyle. During my short life, so far I've learned that I can do anything I want if I really focus and want to do it. Throughout playing softball, I've learned that I often get frustrated with myself when I don't do a drill, swing the bat correctly, or whenever I just mess up in general, but once I collect myself together and remind myself why I'm here playing this sport, I focus on whatever needs to be fixed and sooner or later I'm back in the game.
