My name is Leah Batterson and I am a second baseman for our varsity baseball team. I have been playing baseball all my life and have been a varsity baseball starter since freshman year but, in order to further my playing career into college, I am switching to softball to have better opportunities. I consider myself a good teammate, hardworking, and always hustling. I have been captain for my varsity baseball team the past two years so I also consider myself a leader. I always pick up my teammates and make sure I'm mentally strong since this game is 90% mental. Since been playing baseball, I've faced so much adversity. This has made me strong and very determined; this is what I think separates me from the rest and why I would be a good candidate for your team. I am determined to be the best I can be and push myself to my fullest potential. This is my passion and I hope to be a great fit for your program!
