Since I started playing softball at the age of 6, college softball has been my dream. While my primary position is being a catcher, I have learned to adjust and adapt in any position I play. I have been on varsity since freshman year as a starting catcher along with being a multi-sport varsity athlete for my high school. I desire to continue my softball career due to not only my love for the game, but the many life lessons it has brought to me. Softball has taught me great leadership skills and also the importance of being a great teammate. I have respect for my coaches, teammates, and everyone I meet. Softball is a game which always leaves room for improvement and hard work. I have the passion to get better everyday and the mentality to never settle for mediocre. Not only do I try as hard as possible on the field, but also in the classroom. I challenge myself with multiple AP and honors classes. I set myself to high standards and aim as high as possible to make sure I am prepared for what is yet to come, being a student athlete. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to play softball for the past 11 years, along with the wonderful people I have met along the way. I hope for that to continue as I search to play on the collegiate level.
