Jordan Soriano '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jordan Soriano.  Since 3rd Grade, I've been training on mats. I started with Jiu-Jitsu and Judo.  When my parents brought me to a  Wrestling practice, I dropped everything else and focused solely on Wrestling and quickly fell in love with it.  Wrestling has taught me many valuable lessons including how to overcome adversity and hard work always pays off. This past year I was able to win a State Title in my home state of New York. I was also able to become an All-American and win 3rd place at the High School Nationals in Virginia Beach.  As I move into my Senior year, I plan on finishing my High School career with another state title and an even better showing at National tournaments.

Eventually, I plan to continue pursuing my academic and sports goals in college.  I have a lot to learn but I can guarantee two things. One, I will be the hardest worker in the room. And two, I will be coachable and have a positive attitude and contribute to the team.
