My collegiate goals and aspirations are to graduate from college with a Sports Management Degree to become an Athletic Trainer, Athletic Director or a Softball Coach. My goal is to continue at the college level to maintain a 3.5 GPA while playing softball in college. I would like to be able to find a college that can help me become a better student and person on and off the field. I would like to be able to continue to volunteer and help others in my community during and after college. My family use to run a nonprofit organization where I started to volunteer and I enjoy giving back to the community.
What makes me a good candidate for your team is that no matter what the score is I will always play 100% or beyond with heart and skill till the ump calls the game. An example of this is, I didn’t want to let my team down during sectionals for softball and we did not have another pitcher. I pitched eight strike outs with a broken growth plate in my wrist. I also am told by coaches, teachers, parents, and students that I give my all on the field no matter who is playing or what type of game it is. I feel that my passion and love for this sport is incomparable to other players. As an 8th grader, I was a great leader on and off the field and help teach other players the fundamentals of the game.
I always give sportsmanship during and after every game. I am always giving positive feedback and encouraging my teammates to push them to be the best athlete they can be. In school, I make sure all my work is complete and that I meet all the requirements that are asked of me and beyond. What makes me different is that I don’t just settle for my current abilities I put the time in behind the scenes working on my mechanics, techniques, ability and my fitness. I am willing to play and work on what is needed to help the team. I get along with my teammates on and off the field, I am coachable and will not talk back to Coaches. In the classroom, I ask questions and participate in class discussions. I make my studies habits first priority, and seek help for better understanding.
