My name is Kiera Taylor and I am from a close Christian family. I enjoy helping people, and I try to smile at everyone. I also play the piano at church. I started playing baseball with my brother, then moved to softball. Sports have always came natural to me, but I have always been the smallest on my team, that meant that I had to work harder than everyone else and I believe that would help me to compete at the next level. I was the only 6th grader on the middle school softball team, and was a starter. During my middle school career I was awarded 2 MVPs, Golden glove, and was named athlete of the year. I started 3rd base my freshman year but due to Covid-19 we only got to play one game. I play shortstop on my 18u travel ball team. I also started on the varsity basketball team my freshman year and I run cross country also. My goal for high school is to graduate with a high GPA and continue growing in softball. I really enjoy competing, and I would love the opportunity to continue to play in college while I am studying to be a dental hygienist.
