From a young age, I have always pushed myself to excel as far as possible. Seeing my successor's talents in basketball, fueled my competitive spirit. I found my love for basketball playing on elementary school club  teams.

Being from a small town limited my opportunities in the past but with the support of my family, I was fortunate enough to move to a much bigger school as a junior, where there’s more playing time and exposure. By having to earn my spot on a new team, I found  that no challenge was too big to overcome.  I have been blessed enough to be given the opportunity to play on competitive AAU teams over the years. Although I have faced adversity , it  has greatly increased my mental toughness for the better. Through basketball I have learned that hard work can triumph over obstacles you have no control over. 

I aspire to finish high school with high honors being that I take great pride in the work I do. In college I plan to achieve a law or business degree along with learning  as much as possible.  I seek to attend a college that will both expand and challenge my academics and athletics at the next level.
