I love this game. Over the many years I've collaborated with coaches on creating plays and overall gameplay to improve my team. The amount of extra time I spend playing basketball on various AAU teams since 6th grade provides the skill to work with different teams at different levels. I've been told repeatedly, that being able to see the court and predict plays is one of my strong skills. Defense is the biggest part of basketball, I stand by that! My focus for the game combines with my focus in the classroom being an Honor student on Principal’s List and taking College classes throughout highschool with a GPA of 4.0.
I plan to pursue a career in the STEM field. As a coach of the younger girls and a leader of my own Varsity team, I am able to take defeat and turn it into a learning experience to encourage practice and determination. I aspire to join a strong women’s basketball team in college that is roaring and determined to play the game just as much as I do.
