Ava Minisolo Golf...Personal Statement
I am a left handed golfer and I have been competing on the Somers HS Boys Varsity Golf team since the 8th grade, where I play from the white tees. I was 10 years old when I started playing golf and started playing competitively in 2016. I strive to improve my golf game by working with a swing coach and by working with a fitness trainer on building my strength. My current GPA is a 3.7, and I have earned some college credits by taking college level classes in my Junior year of high school. I would like to attend a college where I can major in Engineering while being apart of a Woman’s Golf team, where I can build lifelong experiences and friendships.

- Round 1 only accounted for nine holes, leaving me two under. Round 2 was eighteen holes, I shot two over. Leaving me even for the event and taking 1st place. Due to torrential rain I was only able to get nine holes in for the 1st round. Weather was awful both days but managed to maintain focus.
