Watching my sister during practice inspired me to start playing ice hockey at 6 years old. I have been able to develop my skills early in my career since my dad and uncle have both played professionally in the NHL, AHL, UHL and ECHL. Playing hockey competitively has given me the opportunity to build mental strength during hardship by remaining focused and working on the strengths of my team in the game and classroom. As a student, my personal goal is to maintain a 4.0 average throughout my academic career. At the college level I want to play for a school that can challenge me academically, and utilize my discipline and ability to adapt in difficult situations to benefit my team on the ice.
