Collegiate Goals and Aspirations
-I want to play competitive women's lacrosse in a positive team environment, major in a pre-med field, and graduate with honors.
Qualities That Make Me a Good Candidate for Your Team
I presume that every team can use players with the following attributes:
-I am extremely coachable and never make excuses.
-I am competitive and passionate, which drives me towards maximum effort.
-I have a high game IQ for my age, and am capable of grasping any aspects of the mental game that you can teach.
-I am determined, focused, and hardworking.
-I actively look for ways to improve my game, which is why I am very comfortable with constructive criticism.
Together, these characteristics mean that I will continually improve, both physically and mentally.
What Separates me from Other Recruits
-For the past few years, I have been receiving private lessons regularly with D1 players from University of North Carolina and Duke. Most recently, Caroline Wakefield has been teaching me a lot of the things she's learned as a starting defender at UNC.
-I am an excellent student. I'm currently at the top of my class. I qualified to be in the Duke TIP program. That program allowed me to take the SAT as a 7th grader; I scored a 1250. I am taking and excelling in Math and English classes with students 1-3 years ahead of me. I earn nearly perfect grades in all my classes.
-I manage my time very successfully. I have excellent grades while playing school sports every season (e.g. basketball, volleyball, and soccer), playing both club and travel lacrosse, attending speed school, receiving private lacrosse lessons, and helping volunteer with my family's non-profit for children at Duke Children's Hospital.
