Hello! I rowed a season at Georgetown Visitation in Washington, DC my freshman year and fell in love with rowing. At Visi, I rowed 7 seat. We were a young (post-COVID) team and had a great growing season. I attended the Naval Academy camp last summer and rowed bow with a fast, experienced boat and loved it. My dad is in the Army and we had to move to Fort Wainwright, Alaska...a lot of snow and ice and no rowing. I am keeping up on the erg and planning to row during the summers and when we move again with the Army. My goal is to row in college. I ran XC this fall and made it to the State Championships in Palmer, AK. Currently, I am on the XC Ski team, which is great cross-training for rowing. I am part of a travel soccer team and will play soccer for my school this spring. My Visi coach encouraged all of us to play multiple sports in order to keep in the best shape possible for rowing.
