Dear coaches,
I started track freshman year and I hated running. I didn't enjoy anything about it and I only joined to be apart of a sport. My coach pointed out that I have "disproportionately long legs" and started lining up hurdles in front of me. I loved it. Something about it made me work harder and harder and I want nothing more to be exceptional at hurdling. The truth is, I want to continue to run hurdles as long as I can. Imagining it all being over after high school isn't enough for me. I want to break my own records more and more and keep at it until I become the best I can truly be. I believe God gave me something to work at and better myself with while giving him glory.
Thank you for your consideration.
