My goal in collegiate sports is to push myself and to receive a challenge playing the sport that I love. I also wish to have a fun experience, I love playing volleyball. It gives me a lot of joy and a feeling of pride and accomplishment. I also hope to learn a lot and meet new people by playing college volleyball. I feel that this is an excellent opportunity to not just learn about volleyball, but about life and achievements. Something that I appreciate about myself is that I am a hard worker. I have been told by multiple employers, teachers, and coaches that they value my hard work and dedication to tasks. I find that if I work hard at something and do my very best, I feel more satisfied when I finish it. So I am always determined to set certain expectations for myself so I can complete a goal successfully. I also think that I am a natural leader. I can lead others and set a good example. I have had multiple leadership opportunities in student government and athletic activities. Above all that I think is most important is that I am kind and a good friend. I think that I am an open-minded person and understanding of people and their emotions. I am a good listener and I care about others. I am willing to put forth the effort to succeed in both college volleyball and academics.
