Erin Rutherford '21 Recruiting Profile

I would describe myself as a well-rounded, confident student athlete who enjoys challenges, exhibits a mature attitude and is a dedicated team player.  I started playing soccer at the age of four.  Over the past twelve years I have had the opportunity to play on competitive travel leagues, in-door winter co-ed teams, futsal teams, high school and club soccer teams.  All of these experiences have shaped who I am today.  I am excited to find a college that will challenge me to reach my fullest potential on and off the field.  My educational goal is to major in Biology and further my career in the medical field.  A healthy balance of academics and athletics is important to me.  I am grateful for my experience as a student at Cushing Academy as it has provided me with the opportunity to experience an environment that promotes and values intellectual challenge, the arts, athletics and cultural competence.  I am excited to begin the college recruitment process and work towards the next phase of my life.
