Soccer has been a very important part of my life for as long as I can remember. I have been playing since I was 4 years old, and have continued ever since. I became very interested in soccer when I started going to summer soccer camps near my area when I was 7 years old.
I've learned many things about myself through playing the sport. One of the biggest things I've learned through soccer is that it takes a lot of dedication and determination to play well, and that teamwork is key to being successful. These are the key characteristics that made it possible for my high school team to be Class C NY State Champions in 2017 and Class B NY State Finalists in 2018. As a triathlete (soccer, basketball, track and field), one of the most important things I've come away with is that balancing sports and academics is difficult. However, I believe this has prepared me with the time-management and organizational skills that I will need to play at the collegiate level.
