Personal Statement
Swimming has provided me with a platform to achieve my goals academically, socially, and competitively. Through swimming I have learned the importance of time management that is needed to achieve high academic standards and goals. This has allowed me to be inducted into the Junior National Honor Society. Socially, swimming has given me the confidence to rise to a strong team leader and cooperative teammate. While swimming is an individual timed sport it is important to have competition with your teammates so that all swimmers are pushed to achieve their goals each season.
