Hi! My name is Sydney Darcy and I am currently a sophomore at Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake High School.
I started playing soccer when I was very young and then stopped a few years to be part of a competitive jump rope team, where participated in the AAU Jr. Olympics. My family moved at the end of my 4th grade year. There was no jump rope team in my new city, so I decided to start a jump rope club at my Elementary school and started playing soccer again. I am part of the Varsity High School Soccer team as well as the Varsity Track team, participating in the Pentathlon.
I take both academics and sports very seriously. I would like to major in Engineering while being part of a competitive college soccer team. I am dedicated, hard working, very coachable and always looking to improve my game. I am a team player and will always put my team first. My biggest strengths are my coachability and reading the field. I read the field well and try to anticipate the next move.
