Grace Russell '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Grace Russell. I am a sophomore at Fillmore central school in New York and am graduating in the year 2024. I have played soccer for over 8 years and I love the sport!! I play other sports, but soccer is definitely my passion! My favorite thing is being on the field with a soccer ball at my feet! I also train with my twin sister all the time. We train whenever we have free time. Soccer is very important to me and has taught me many things that I will use for the rest of my life including being a leader, working hard, and teamwork. I would love to go to the next level and play in college. 

Another big part of my life is my faith. This is a big part of who I am. My parents are pastors at a New Hope Assemblies of God church in Fillmore. This has played a big role in my daily life.  My faith challenges me everyday and helps me grow in character. 

I have been playing high school soccer for 3 years and have been a starter on varsity for 2. I have played club for 5 years and have joined a second premiere club team this year. I also play other sports including basketball and track and field.

Academics are also a huge part of my life. Similar to on the field, I work very hard to maintain good grades and excel in school. I hope to be part of a college that will give the right balance between soccer and academics.
