I first fell in love with soccer at four years old playing in a local youth league. Over the last 10 years, many different coaches have helped me grow into the player I am today. Each of my coaches brought a diverse style of coaching allowing me to learn, and play many positions at a high level. Playing multiple positions in pre-ECNL, and most recently in the Development Academy has made me a very versatile player. I also credit this as being one of the reasons I was elected a leader, and a captain of my team by both my coaches and peers. Through this experience I have learned not only how to lead but also how to trust, and how important trust is amongst a team. My determination, and leadership ability will help me be successful in all aspects of life including competing at college level soccer.
For my high school career I have set goals not only athletically, but academically as well. Academically, I have set out to make high honors each quarter and eventually take AP level courses. The best college fit for me will be strong in both academics and athletics. I strongly believe that I have the determination, character, and optimism that it will take to compete at the college level.
