People like to say that I am a talented athlete. But they take my talent for granted. They like to say Im, "lucky," or just, "gifted," but what people don't see is the hard work. Ever since I was in third grade after watching my first Women's World Cup, my goal was always to be the best athlete I could possibly be. I am very determined and motivated. I will plan my own trainings at night in my soccer notebook to do on my side yard, or go and lift to be stronger and better than the other soccer girls out there. Although somedays I just want to lay around and eat chips, I'll still push myself. I am very disciplined. Going into the recruiting world I research and prepare myself for what is to come. I see small videos on TikTok of girls talking about how playing in college is draining and not worth it, but with my motivation, determination, discipline, and hard work, I will ensure that I have a successful, but also fun, college career. This is what my 8 year old self has dreamed of ever since I saw Hope Solo play in the World Cup, and here I am working to make it happen.
