I attend Lansing High School and I have a GPA of 3.70. I am a rising Senior and will be graduating in June of 2023. After graduation, I would like to continue my education and pursue studies in biology.
I started playing soccer in 3rd grade with a local youth bureau team. I was on a team with several classmates, and I immediately enjoyed the team experience. I was eager to learn more about the sport, and soon joined a local club where I played for a passionate coach with international experience playing for Jamaica’s national team. He taught me advanced soccer skills, technique, strategies and the importance of fundamental soccer skills.
My varsity soccer career at Lansing High School started in 8th grade. I have played for four years with my high school coach, and I have learned from him the importance of being resilient and to stay mentally tough during difficult games. As a freshman, I was the top goal scorer for my team and I was selected as an All Star player in Section Four of New York State. During my junior year I was the top goal scorer again with 23 goals; I was awarded All-State section IV fourth team. Over the years, I have taken on a leadership role for my team both on and off the field.
I have continued my travel soccer career with BC United and a local club, TC Waza. In the spring of 2021 we played in the EDP league, as well as many showcases and tournaments. This year we will be playing in DPL and attending several showcases like Jefferson Cup, Loudon, FC Delco and CASL. My club coach has taught me how to play well against tough competition. I am a versatile player and have moved positions quite often; I am a very flexible player. My speed and strength as a player have helped me tremendously.
I appreciate you taking the time to look at my profile and considering me for your team.
