As far as my collegiate goals, I am hoping to get a well rounded education in the medical field as well as continue my soccer career. I am not certain what area in medicine I would like to study. I am aware on how difficult it may be preparing to study medicine as well as playing collegiate soccer but I feel I have been preparing for this my whole life. My parents have taught me at a young age to plan my time between soccer and school and how to prioritize my time accordingly. My love for soccer is endless. It has opened so many doors for me throughout my life. I have been fortunate enough to play on great teams that have given me the ability to play in major tournaments throughout the US as well as play in Italy. My asset to any team is my commitment and dedication to the team. I play center back and have been Captain for my club team for 5 years. I have been told that my strength is my leadership and how to organize the defense on the field as well as guiding the rest of my team mates. I have been a winner my whole life and considered extremely competitive on the field. I have studied this great game the same way I study for school and have been told I have a high IQ for the game. Playing soccer since I could basically walk has given me more than just learning the game. The club I play for emphasis three attributes that we live by "Skill", "Self Discipline" and "Sportsmanship". These three attributes have shown me how to be a team player and that hard work and dedication is needed to achieve your goals. It is these characteristics that I feel will make me an asset to any Collegiate Soccer Program and University.
