Ever since I started playing on a U8 AYSO team, I knew that soccer would be my favorite activity. As I grew, so did my love for the sport. When I realized I wanted soccer to continue to be a part of my life through college was when I was moved up onto my school's Jv team in my 8th-grade year. Winning the sectional and league titles all of my 3 years on Varsity has been such a blessing and has taught me so much about my self as a player and a person. I've discovered my abilities as a team player and how important it is to stay positive in all circumstances of the game. I have also learned that maintaining a high level of energy can encourage my teammates and it has helped them and myself to perform at our very best. After having what I consider 3 major setbacks, those being 2 left hip fractures and 1 appendectomy, however difficult, I believe I have fought and worked my way back to a position where I can compete at the college level. I am looking for a program that will support and help flourish my athletic and academic goals. As a 2 sport athlete in school along with club soccer outside of school, and being a captain on varsity soccer as a junior, I've learned what it takes to be a committed, respectful, determined yet caring leader to my teammates. But not only in soccer but in whatever group I become apart of off of the field. Being a leader who is more a friend is my main goal, I want to listen to everyone's ideas and input, I enjoy giving advice and helping my peers to be the best they can be. Already being able to experience what it is like to be apart of an amazing program and school, I know that I have the character to step up to any challenge and lead on your team.
