If someone tells me I can't do something, you can be sure I'm going to prove them wrong. I am a fierce competitor that believes that everything must be earned through hard work and that you must fight for what you believe in. Playing soccer has taught me the importance of patience, cooperation, teamwork, hard work, respect, responsibility, leadership, and character through many obstacles I've had to overcome. Soccer has made me realize the mental toughness and resilience I have, which helps me to keep a driven and optimistic attitude towards both athletics and academics.

I continue to strive to succeed in both school and sports and aim to become captain of my varsity soccer team, as well as play varsity basketball and track and field. I aspire to remain a well rounded student-athlete, including participating in Chamber Orchestra outside of school as a cellist. My goal is to attend medical school and to work as a doctor specializing in pediatrics which fits me personally because of my empathetic nature and earnestness to give back to the world.
