Sarah Smith '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Sarah Smith.  I am currently attending Port Colborne High School in Port Colborne, Ontario.  My goal is to find a school that will allow me to excel academically and continue to pursue my soccer passion.  I am motivated and disciplined, and have the skills to manage the demand of both competitive sports and school.  I started playing soccer and training as a Provincial level gymnast at the age of three.  I very recently retired from gymnastic to pursue my love of soccer.

I am committed to my studies and playing soccer at the highest level possible.  I am versatile and can play multiple positions.  I have an outstanding work ethic and passion for the game of soccer that pushes me outside my comfort level in search of excellence. I am very focussed, determined and a fierce competitor.  I am left foot dominant, and confident with my right.  I am tough, smart, and hard working with lots of potential.    I have good speed and passing ability.  I am a smart defender and I look to keep the ball in motion and join the offensive attack when the opportunity presents.  I play at the club level and work privately with a coach on my technical skills.    I am coachable and apply suggestions both in training and in games.  I enjoy working as a team and strive to be the best teammate possible.  I believe in communication and lead by example.
