I have always loved playing soccer. I have played since I was four years old. My goal is to play at the next level. Another goal of mine is to continue to progress and get better. Soccer has taught me how to work hard, and never give up. The hardest part of my soccer career was moving to a lower team. It taught me perseverance and humility. I was placed with a coach who saw my potential and switched me to a position that better suited my skills. After much hard work, I was given the opportunity to move to a top team in the club. Since then, I have never taken anything for granted. I am also very thankful that I was awarded the position of captain.
Academics are also very important to me. It is a priority in my life. I am an all A student. I am second in my class, and I have a GPA of 4.56. In addition to soccer, I also participate in one-act play every year and I am also on the varsity basketball team at my school. My goal for high school is to become valedictorian or salutatorian.
