My name is Molly Ruiz. .  My love for volleyball started the minute I passed my first ball when I was thirteen. I was immediately drawn to passing rather than anything else and stuck to it to where I am now, libero . Volleyball has completely transformed my mind into a new person than before I started to play. My physical and mental strength I have gained from playing the game has helped me through the toughest challenges I have faced in life. I play volleyball for the matches where every single person is playing their absolute best and working extremely hard to make sure that ball does not hit the ground. I play volleyball for the team work and energy, whether you are on the sidelines or on the court, that goes into every pass, every set, and every hit. Volleyball has taught me to push myself beyond my limits in every way, to have the mindset of going for every ball no matter how far it is and that has got me to where I am today. Playing volleyball has helped me become an outgoing leader on and off the court.
