I have been pushed to be successful in academics and out on the mat by my mom and step dad. Not only am I passionate about succeeding academically and with wrestling, but helping others as well. I find much gratitude pushing others to find that strength deep within themselves. Whether that be with academics or sports. My mom and step dad have encouraged me to be an independent individual, yet never hesitate to ask for help or guidance. I played baseball and football my whole youth up until high school. I did youth wrestling a few years and then stopped. My freshman year I jumped back into wrestling and haven't stopped. With just starting back up with wrestling my freshman year of High School you can see a dramatic change in skill level. I went from not knowing anything to winning a region title my Junior year. I am willing to put in the work and go to private lessons that are offered and practices that are offered to push myself to become a better wrestler and to push myself to become a better student. Do to Covid-19 I am missing out on my senior year of wrestling but even though I'm missing this year I am still putting in the work for off season matches and tournaments.
