Hello, I’m Maria and I love playing volleyball!
Playing volleyball is my favorite thing to do and I’m always super excited to go to practice and work hard on becoming a better player. My dad first introduced me to volleyball in 2018 by playing with me in our driveway as a way to help me stay active, ever since then I’ve fallen in love with the sport. Once my parents saw my interest they signed me up for a workshop which was run by a club coach. The coach invited me to try out for their new team and made me an offer. It might not have been the best team and we might not have won many games but it made me mentally strong and my drive to play and get better got even stronger.
With the mindset that there is always room for improvement and if you work hard you will achieve what you want, I worked my way up to the strongest team in my area and still want to go further.
When I found out that you could play volleyball in university, it’s become a dream I am trying to make a reality.
For the past 2023 season my team and I participated in many tournamnets (almost 20) and won every tournament either a Gold or Silver medal including winning the Lake Erie Chalenge in Sandusky, Ohio and second place at Presidents Day Challenge in Detroit MICHIGAN. For the 2022 season we won Silver medal at National Volleyball Championship and for the 2023 season we won Gold in Division 1 at the National Volleyball Championship in Regina, Saskatchewan.
I also play competitive Beach Volleyball and I have won the Provincial Championship gold medal in 2022 and came in a strong 5th place finish at the National Beach Vball Championship. I always strive to be better and read my oponent so I can place the ball that gets my team the point.
I am as versatile on indoor court as I am on sand. I love defense and I usually playing Libero /DS. I play however any position from MB to OH depending of what my team coach feels the team needs at the moment.
Here is a refference from Coach Brad Molnar regarding my performances, his contact info is attached to my profile:

To whom it may concern,
I am writing this letter as a personal reference and testament with regard to athlete, Maria Titianu.
I have coached Maria for several years now and am excited to say I have the pleasure of coaching her for another season. Maria is a Rare combination of athleticism, intelligence and competitive spirit. She has a volleyball Iq that is beyond her age and is always trying to improve. She has a never quit attitude and leaves her last ounce of energy on the floor. At practice she is just as intense as in games and is always levelling up the competitive level of practice. She is an excellent student and maintains solid grades. Maria will make an excellent addition to any team and will compete and perform at whatever role she is asked to do. She anchored her line this year and is a cornerstone player for our club team. She is equally good at beach as indoor, and really demonstrates with her beach success in the OVA beach tour. I truly believe at the next level she will make an outstanding Libero, defensive specialist or serving specialist. She is an outstanding Passer and plays the game 3 steps ahead. The only better then her passing and serving is her defensive play. She always know where to position herself to best defend a play.
She is an incredibly accurate and consistent server with many long serving runs under her belt. She has an excellent ability to recognize the abilities of the athletes on the other side of the net and put balls where they are difficult to return. In pressure situations she is a rock and maintains a level of calm in her play.
I feel like her potential has only been tapped and we have yet to see the best from this player. As she matures and gets stronger I feel she will become a much sought after athlete.
I am available for discussion on this athlete any time and can be reached at

Brad Molnar,
