Update: I have enrolled at Wilkes University and will be joining their Wrestling Team.
I would like to wrestle at an NCAA college while pursuing a bachelors degree starting in the Fall of 2021.
I am a driven individual who always looks for challenges and ways to better myself. I am very disciplined and work harder than most individuals. For example, in my sophomore year I discovered Jiu Jitsu and High School wrestling and I practiced regularly 6 days a week year round to learn this sport I fell in love with. Even though I was new to the sport I continued to go to practice and find ways to progress, always challenging myself to wrestle up. By the end of the 2nd year that time and dedication paid off getting me to NY State Sectionals Div II and on the WAC All Star team #2. Even through the lockdown I continued with virtual training and more. I have increased my strength training while at home as well. During any time I could not compete, I spent that time at tournaments helping coach and motivating my teammates as well.
I am an honor roll student with a 3.7 GPA. Classes taken include honors courses and college courses. I believe I would be an asset to any wrestling team and college academic program.
