My name is Dante Graham and I'm looking for a college that can make me a better wrestler on and off the mat. I started wrestling as a freshman and have fell in love with the sport since; wrestling has given me the ability to give my everything into something and fully commit to the sport. Over my high school career, I have been fortunate enough to have three amazing coaches and a team that I am happy to be called captain of. I specialize in neutral position but also find that I have consistently been able to get escapes on bottom throughout the years, becoming more technical as my high school career has gone on. I often cut people while in top position as I've acknowledged top as one of my biggest necessary areas of growth on the mat. As a junior in high school, I look forward to wrestling each day after school because it gives me a space to physically do what my mind is always thinking about: wrestling. I also find heavy passion in many academics such as learning Chinese at the honors level and my AP Language 11 class: both of which I enjoy personally because they have connections to me. I enjoy physical labor and plan to major in business and/or economics in college, where I plan to wrestle at a higher level regardless the division. My passion for wrestling is nothing but pure and I hope to wrestle in life for as long as I can, to learn, to grow, and to win.
