My short term goals over the next three high school seasons are to continue to excel in the classroom and on the baseball diamond; helping me progress towards my long term goals of earning a degree/teachers preparation program in history and playing collegiate baseball. I realize that the probability to excel and advance in baseball at and above the collegiate level narrows sharply, which is why academics is extremely important to me. I plan get a solid education to prepare me for the future of becoming a history teacher.
My philosophy for continuing to play baseball at the collegiate level is to respect and remain a student of the game. It is a privilege to play baseball at any level and that effort and hustle are both elements of the game that any player can control. When I step onto the field, I put forth maximum effort. If there is competition at my position, I will not quit. I will out-work my competition and compete for the position, while maintaining a peaceful team climate.
I hope to be an integral part of a winning program with a winning attitude. Thank you for taking the time to review my profile. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
