Hi, my name is Jackson Kelleher. I started playing volleyball at a week-long summer camp while transitioning to 8th grade. I tried out for the High School's Varsity team, and made the team as a middle school student. Since then, I have honed my skills and competed for Sectional titles. I also joined a club team and have been practicing hard. I play middle, outside, and opposite, but my skills extend to passing and solid coverage on the court.
I love to play, and I always want to keep playing even after a tournament, game, or practice is finished. Simply put, I can't get enough of volleyball. Once, I went to three practices in a day!
As a person, I always try to motivate my teammates with encouragement and positive feedback. I'm personable and make good connections with teachers, coaches, and others. In addition, schoolwork is a priority for me. I am focused on academics and I am a high honor roll student, also scoring in the 99th percentile on my SAT. I expect to pursue studies in math, science or business, and hope to attend a college that challenges me.
I am interested in speaking with and meeting coaches who are looking for a competitive student and player for their 2022 roster, and someone who is as dedicated to volleyball as I am.
