Basketball has been a huge part of my life since elementary school. As soon as I started playing in the 2nd grade, I immediately fell in love with it. Once I got to high school I had big expectations for myself by going for varsity that year. I ended up on JV, but with a big role in being a leader and playing every minute of every game. Sophomore year I filled right in and became the starting PG on varsity and contributed heavily to our success. Throughout my junior year, there were some ups and downs. I battled an injury for most of the first half of the year, but when I was healthy I came back strong and finished the year out with some big scoring nights and big upset wins. As I move into my senior year I will be setting lots of goals for myself both academically and athletically, but the most important one will be to bring home a sectional championship to Queensbury, which has never been done before. I have always had a strong work ethic and drive to achieve my goals. My grit and determination to win, along with the team first attitude I bring on and off the court is something that gives me great confidence as I begin my college career.
