My collegiate goals are to be a starting defenseman for a Division 1 university and earn a degree in my chosen field of study. I am a good candidate because along with loving lacrosse and continuing to get better every year I have also been a top student every year. My current GPA in a 4.0. I have maintained this GPA at a very rigorous High School while taking two honors classes in Math and English. While maintaining a 4.0 GPA I also trained all summer and was one of two Freshman who ran on the Varsity Cross Country team at Queensbury High School. I continued to get better over the season and finished 30th out of 85 students in our conference and 2nd among Freshman.
When it comes to Lacrosse I started playing when I was 5, and I instantly fell in love. After the first practice I never questioned or thought about another sport. Through the many years I have played other sports but have never found another sport that I have loved and cherished like lacrosse. Through my many years playing lacrosse I have learned about the importance of character, work ethic and teamwork. I have learned that it is OK if you are not to be the best player out there but you better be the one working the hardest. Living by this standard I have continued to progress over the years and make myself and those around me better. I am ready to put in the work and strive to be apart of a D1 lacrosse team.
