I started playing lacrosse later than most people I know. I only started playing in my 8th grade year. However, due to my size, athleticism, and coachability, I was able to pick up lacrosse easily and fell in love with the game. I was a starter the first year I played in middle school and was a starter as a freshman on my high school's varsity team. I also started on my club team the summer after my freshman year. I have continued to play and improve my skills from one year to the next. As a sophomore midfielder, I had the 3rd most goals (20) on our high school's varsity team that was 4th in the conference behind 4A schools and made it to the 4th round (quarterfinals) of the 3A state tournament.
I think what sets me apart from the rest of my peers is my drive to always get better. I am very coachable and work hard to always grow and improve academically, physically, and as a person.
