2019 HighlightsPersonal Statement
I am currently a Junior at Staten Island Academy who maintains good focus both in school and in athletics. I am hardworking and versatile, being able to play wherever I am needed most, while also being a supportive teammate and a good leader. I always maintain a positive attitude and a desire to learn. My biggest qualities on the field are speed, accuracy and ability to energize my team.
I have been a starter in my school varsity team since my freshman year, having achieved 4 goals and 8 assists. During my sophomore year, I played in 13 games (league and non-league) scoring 18 goals and had 9 assists. During my Junior year, I scored 20 goals and had 7 assists. I was selected to the All Star of PSAA (Private Schools Athletic Association) Boys Soccer 2018 and 2019, and MVP of the PSAA West Division. I am currently captain of both my varsity team and club team.
My club team is NY Chelsea FC, which was formed on March 2018 and in just one year we have achieved an excellent ranking (National 180) and we hope to advance more this year! I am very proud to have contributed to this success as a key midfielder.
Soccer is my passion. I have played soccer since I was 4 years old and club soccer since I was 8. My wish is to continue my passion while I am in college. I am looking for the perfect combination of athletics and academics.
