I am competitive by nature. I thrive on improving my game through hard work and dedication. I have always been involved in team sports. I believe my family is at the core of my desire to play collegiate level, I can follow in my mother's footsteps of playing D1 softball. If it were not for their support and taxi service to get me to practices and games, I would not have been able to improve my game. Playing 6 years of travel soccer while playing softball and basketball teams. My desire to compete in soccer, as a goalie, became overshadowed by my interest and love of softball. I changed to travel softball. My main position is a catcher although I play the corners all the way to the outfield. I am able to adjust into a utility player and go where needed. I have always been a team player. It is important to understand that you have to be accountable for your actions as they affect my teammates. While on and off the field I have a positive attitude that I feel is contagious to my teammates. Always looking to improve to benefit my team as well as hone my own skills. I am always looking for a challenge in my athletics as well as my academics. I feel one of the most important characteristics is commitment, not only to myself but also to my teammates and academics. I take my academics seriously and I study hard as well as play hard. I have learned over the years that it is not, practice that makes perfect but perfect practice that makes perfect. I am an excellent communicator, leader, and supporter. I understand the need to work together for the success of the team.
