My name is Abdo Abadega and I have lived in Charlotte NC for the past five years. I am from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and grew up playing soccer in the fields of my countryside. Since being in America, I have learned the detail and fundamentals of soccer through playing on clubs and my school teams. I am passionate about soccer and have a coachable attitude. I know being a part of a team is what has helped me to communicate and understand a new culture. I am grateful for the opportunity to further my education and to play at the college level.

- Coach Graham West has spent a few sessions with Abdo in the summer of 2018 training him on the fundamentals of soccer. He is coming off from Ethiopia and only played street ball with his friends. Coach West was key in helping Abdo tighten his footwork.
