From the time that I started playing soccer at the age of 3, my passion and love for soccer began. When I went on to play club at age 7, I started off as a defender, then up to a midfielder at age 10, and now I switch between midfielder and forward; therefore, I have worked my way through almost all of the positions in order to be a versatile player. In addition, I am a great leader on the field because of my soccer IQ. Some other strong attributes that I possess include my accuracy with passes, my solid technical play, my shooting, and my mentality. My strong work ethic is evidenced by doing extras: summer 3v3, futsal, dual rostered, private training, and strength and agility.
Whether it's on the field or in the classroom, I am determined to do my very best and put in all of my effort; if I do not do that, then I have to keep on trying until I succeed. However, when I do fail, I tend to look on the brighter side of things and ponder ways that can improve my game. Failure is a great thing because you can learn from your mistakes. Throughout the course of my soccer career, I found out that I can really test my limits and keep moving forward instead of not pushing myself and being just like the rest. As a multi-sport athlete, I figured out how to balance academics and sports, which this time management skill will serve me well in college.
