Personal Statement
I aspire to compete at the college level in cross country and track & field. I want to prove to myself, my coaches and team that i’m willing to give everything. The competitiveness and drive of running at such a high level is something I am willing to work for. I’m part of a military family so I have lived all over the world. I played soccer until 9th grade where I tried across country to get in shape for soccer. I fell in love with running and now compete all 3 seasons (XC,indoor,outdoor track). My favorite runner is Prefontaine because he gave everything when he stepped on the track.
