Sports and athletics are an ingrained part of my character, and I have been working since I was 6 years old to be a college athlete. I started out in USA Gymnastics and made it to Level 10, before I transitioned into competiting in CrossFit while I looked for the right new competitive sport for me. As an all around athlete, I continued to do high school varsity and junior varsity athletics. Spring of 2019 is my first season in track and field and I truly love training for this new sport, and am passionate about competing in track and field at the collegiate level. I come from a long line of Division I athletes and understand what it takes to be a competitor in college while also being a scholar athlete, and look forward to pursuing an undergraduate degree while competing in track and field. I believe that my work ethic, coachability, and teamwork have set the foundation for me to be an asset to any team, and am excited to try whatever events the coach needs from me to assist the team. I also have had the good fortune of being the daugther of an active duty service members, so have lived all across the country, and am looking for the best college fit, regardless of location as I have found that I truly have loved everywhere we have lived.

One thing that I take great pride in is that my mother was a Track and Field Team Captain and athlete at West Point while she was a cadet, and my father was on the Men's Tennis Team as a cadet, while my aunt was a Team Captain and catcher on the Women's Softball Team at Villanova, and my cousin played Softball at Virginia Tech. One of my uncles played major league baseball, while my other uncle played Division I baseball, and even my grandfather played football and baseball at Kansas State. Sports are truly part of my genetic makeup and I personally cannot enjoy a day without a physical challenge and goal, and love learning from my coaches and teammates.
