Academically, I am interested in majoring in biology. I am particularly interested in the human body. My career choice is not yet determined, but I will most likely be working in the medical field. I started playing basketball in the third grade. Little did I know, the one-hour rec games on Saturday mornings were just a starting point for my future. Throughout the years, basketball has become an integral part of my life. It gives me physical strength, mental precision, leadership abilities, the skills to be a team player, and confidence. This sport has formed me into the hard-working person that I am today. Basketball is what I love to do. It makes me happy. I am more than willing to put in the extra work to improve my game. My dedication to the sport is clear on and off the court. My coaches have used me as an example of a player who is determined and eager to be the best player I can be. Playing basketball grounds me, and I would feel tremendously lucky and honored to play the sport that I love in college.
