Ellie Jewell '21 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I'm Ellie! I have always grown up playing sports, but when I discovered volleyball in elementary school I fell in love. As a libero, it comes naturally for me to anticipate the opposing team's next play, control the defense, and look out for my team's best interest.  Each time I step onto the court, whether that be practice or a game, I always remind myself to "give it my all and learn something new to improve my game". 

Off the court, I have found a love for exercising and nutrition. I also  have a passion for working with people whom have special needs. As a result of these passions, I plan on pursuing a career as a physical therapist that specializes in working with people with disabilities. I would love to find a school that will challenge me athletically and academically!
